Bay Area homeowners now have less than one week to enter their homes to win a $50,000 energy efficiency makeover. In the “Energy-Efficient Home Makeover,” sponsored by Flex Your Power, KGO Radio, ABC7, Sustainable Spaces and Lowe’s, one lucky Bay Area homeowner will receive relief from needlessly high energy bills with an energy efficiency audit and retrofit worth up to $50,000. San Francisco-based Sustainable Spaces will perform the efficiency audit and make efficiency upgrades, while Lowe’s will supply ENERGY STAR qualified appliances and lighting. The contest ends January 31, 2007. For more information, and to enter your home, visit the KGO Radio website.
